Oh Gods! So many notes, and I am dog tired!|
One thing, I can count on one hand how many hipster, creative, classy friends I have who have children, but today at Disneyland, I saw scads of cool people of my age group and possibly my interest overlap that had kids. It was so normal, instead of taboo, for non-minivan drivin', church goin', flower dress wearin', people to have kids. I'm sure that means nothing to the folks who have no kids...
I love the people in Europe. The are so naturally beautiful, without all the trappings and glamour.
When they tell you the people of Paris are stylish, it mostly has nothing to do with the B.S. designer nonsense, folks here have a sense of themself and a style that projects a unique sensability and beauty. I'm too tired to put my finger on it.
I've had so much wine here. It's cheap and good.
We had wine at the darling little Pirates of the Caribean restaurant. Fun. Also, we had a gorgeous dessert of kiwi and grapefruit sorbet served in a bowl made of sugary red-hot like candy, like blown glass. Oh my god! It was amazing!!!
I love Disneyland! I love being in a Victorian City for a while. When I grow up, I think I will design themepark landscapes and tableaux. What the hell.
More later. I'm falling asleep.
