After the fair closed, we had a fun little wine reception. I love the Kiwis. They are a fun, laid back, and non-judgemental people. I loved talking about metaphysical subjects, Ayers and Enchanted Rocks, language, accents, and other things with this adorable gentleman.

Some of the guys changed my name to Maggie. After a long night of drinking and partying, I was still Maggie this morning, so I guess it's sticking.

After the wine thing, we went to a cute little Italian pizza and ice cream place, and we were a drunken and boisterous crew. The boss of the whole thing, Chris, is a serious hellion. I came out of the ladies room and the same time he was coming out of the men's room, and I'm not sure how he did it, but he tricked me that the door to the men's room was really the door back into the restaurant. It was gross and I still can't stop laughing when I think about it. I made him give me all his Euro coins so I could play the gambling game (that I never figured out how to play).

After dinner, these maniacs wanted to go to another bar for more drinking. We were on our way there when, an unlikely turn of events, I was hit with the weird idea of going home and going to bed instead. The people loved the idea, and off to bed we went. I actually got 6 hours of sleep last night.
I woke up at 5AM, and laid there until I saw the first crack of dawn through the window, and I got up and went to the living room. Outside in the backyard, I noticed that during the night, a sweet little cloud lightly powdered the ground with a lovely snow. The koi pond in the yard was just gorgeous with snow on the surrounding rocks, and there were these bright yellow lilies. I am very please with myself that I took some pictures.

Y'all ever had ham in Europe? It is a whole different experience. It is so delicious. I bend my dietary restrictions when I travel here. This morning I had scrambled eggs with cheese, tomatoes, and ham. Do you know that they serve salad for breakfast?
All day today, David has had a steady stream of reporters. I haven't talked to him in hours. After this one leaves, I will drag him off to lunch.
