maternity clothes [Sep. 24th, 2005|11:59 am]

Where are the cute maternity clothes??

The punky/edgy stuff is rare and expensive. It seems that all the cool t-shirts are at least $50 -each. The items that aren't ugly florally Church Lady are way expensive.

What's the deal? I know there is some source for cute maternity wear that doesn't suck and I can still afford.

All the cool clothes just disappear when you are pregnant. It is as if there is a conspiracy to make you take on some wholesome Christian values when you are to start a family. I don't buy it.

I want to show off my figure, and I don't like it low cut, and I don't want to pretend that I am a nice girl.
I like the t-shirt that says "Your boyfriend's the father".

I wan't something with the appearance that a sexy/evil witch is bringing a dragon into this world. (teeheehee)

There is a lot of punky baby clothes.

HELP! (I know somebody knows!)

Here's some cute stuff I found online..

But really you could prolly still dress the way you do.. And just by them a size bigger.. I never wore maternity clothes with either of my kids.. I just found stuff that was comfortable and was my taste..

hey Thanks!

I'm not sure how it will work with the jeans, buying a bigger size that is. My legs are still skinny, but my tummy is getting bigger. I don't want to end up in baggy clothes, ya know?

Buy tight t-shirts and cut them so that your belly shows. I've seen a number of pregnant women do that here in town. They look so proud.

I utterly hated all maternity clothes, so I just wore regular clothes the whole time. Don't pay good money for stuff you don't need.

Scorpionis,
When my belly gets nice and big, I would like to make an appointment with you for a nice henna design. Are you up for it?

I knew it!
You are small enough to wear normal clothes until the last few months. Large and comfy.

I kinda bought out the maternity sale rack of black capri pants at old navy (somewhere I would only shop out of desperation) and they were like $4 each when I got them. I think I've lost some heiny weight though, because they keep slipping off, but are so cozy in the front.
